The corner led Belgium's Sander Dermaut to fire away a dangerous shot which Percy Fernandez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Percy Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Percy Fernandez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robby Woody in the 15th minute of play.
