Gafur Elmastaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Songurbey Aksungur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, Gafur Elmastaş left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kırşehirspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Gafur Elmastaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Songurbey Aksungur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gafur Elmastaş made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 42ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Tommy Kahn would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 44 minutes into the game, Gafur Elmastaş cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ali Cafer İrfanoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Songurbey Aksungur came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Songurbey Aksungur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Songurbey Aksungur might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Songurbey Aksungur ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Selami Sarif came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Songurbey Aksungur took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The Kırşehirspor fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Kırşehirspor's Songurbey Aksungur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 86 minutes into the game, Kırşehirspor's Songurbey Aksungur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
