Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zé Roberto Castro kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tostão Arantes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran back to his position shaking his head. Zé Roberto Castro scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tostão Arantes came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Czar Sporting's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tostão Arantes came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Czar Sporting's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Tostão Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Roberto Castro in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Czar Sporting's goalkeeper Tostão Arantes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xu Jie Hao in the 32nd minute of play. With a little luck, Czar Sporting's Tostão Arantes got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tostão Arantes came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Tostão Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Czar Sporting's Zé Roberto Castro, in the 45th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Czar Sporting. Zé Roberto Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardinho Carioca in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 53 minutes into the match, Czar Sporting's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Tostão Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tostão Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 57th minute of play forced Czar Sporting's goalkeeper Tostão Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tostão Arantes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Czar Sporting made a substitution. Vinícius Lopes replaced Ricardinho Carioca. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tostão Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim Wilmes to maneuver through the defense. Czar Sporting's André Luís Leal was substituted for Xu Jie Hao. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Wim Wilmes hit a great ball. Vinícius Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Tostão Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Czar Sporting's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vinícius Lopes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Czar Sporting were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marnix Lyesen took the corner. A nice corner shot did that André Luís Leal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnout Reekers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 79th minute of play forced Czar Sporting's goalkeeper Tostão Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Fernando Sarmento hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tostão Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 87th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Czar Sporting defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tostão Arantes. The Czar Sporting fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tostão Arantes should have stopped the shot. After 91 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tostão Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Arantes having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Netherlands fully deserved thier win.
