Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Elizardo. Tobias Elizardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
