Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) After 7 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Vít Biskup. Wisan Hangmui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrich Slany having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Oliver Holub notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chiang Mai Football Club's Paiboon Phatthanasing. Paiboon Phatthanasing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Pinthusorn Kheangraeng made a precise shot to the right of Henrich Slany. Slovakia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Chiang Mai Football Club booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Suchy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paiboon Phatthanasing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vavrinec Koleno in the 24th minute. Henrich Slany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pinthusorn Kheangraeng, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovakia's supporters rose to their feet, but Metod Mlynar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paiboon Phatthanasing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pinthusorn Kheangraeng in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Metod Mlynar to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Chiang Mai Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Tawee Deephetch. Metod Mlynar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Kornel Jahoda got a free kick in the 59th minute. Paiboon Phatthanasing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Holub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metod Mlynar in the 70th minute of play forced Chiang Mai Football Club's goalkeeper Paiboon Phatthanasing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrich Slany was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Pinthusorn Kheangraeng capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pinthusorn Kheangraeng really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Pinthusorn Kheangraeng took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wisan Hangmui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chiang Mai Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tawat Chaiprakhon in the 84th minute. A nice corner shot did that Tawat Chaiprakhon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Henrich Slany quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Paiboon Phatthanasing came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Slovakia's Metod Mlynar. But to his dismay, Metod Mlynar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Kasidit Pantasen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Pinthusorn Kheangraeng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
