Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ferenc van Nistelrooij made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute Ferenc van Nistelrooij shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Ferenc van Nistelrooij ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vavrinec Holub was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Denis Dostal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Ferenc van Nistelrooij came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Aznar in the 29th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, S.João de Areias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Aznar to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Jilek in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yusuf Ziya Sertaç saved S.João de Areias from getting behind. Alan Rezek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, S.João de Areias's Bonifacio Aznar got a free kick in the 44th minute. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Dostal in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half S.João de Areias were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Jilek made a kick off. Alan Rezek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bohumir Kohout kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Ferenc van Nistelrooij managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.João de Areias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferenc van Nistelrooij was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torcato Boaventura's late challenge caught a Czech Republic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torcato Boaventura helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to S.João de Areias getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Torcato Boaventura hit a great ball. Fatih Tekke hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Igor Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalimil Charvat to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. S.João de Areias had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
