Jerônimo da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 16th minute of play. Jonathan Criado made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Elite™- FC Galácticos's Maël Zapata. If Cosme Dighero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elite™- FC Galácticos were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Spain's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nikos Kladogennis took the corner. Jerônimo da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Aranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Adria Bielsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Adria Bielsa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 44 minutes into the game, Adria Bielsa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jerônimo da Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Spain were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute Spain were awarded a corner. Omar Toledo went to the cornerflag to take it. Cosme Dighero kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Jerônimo da Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Toledo. 64 minutes into the match, Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Jerônimo da Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Aranda. After 65 minutes Elite™- FC Galácticos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Omar Toledo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Spain's Jonathan Criado to fire away a dangerous shot which Jerônimo da Cunha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Atacan Rahim came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Cosme Dighero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Elite™- FC Galácticos's goal looked a bit too open when David Aranda came free, but Jerônimo da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Jonathan Criado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jerônimo da Cunha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 83rd minute Sergio Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Rola came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Ascaso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gino Monteiro's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Elite™- FC Galácticos's Silvério Vale. But to his dismay, Silvério Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 90th minute, Sergio Ruiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Vale in the 92nd minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvério Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Ascaso having to make a save. When the match was over Spain could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Elite™- FC Galácticos throughout the match.
