The referee showed Bruno Bastos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, one of Portugal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Portugal. Portugal's attentive Daniel Pimentel managed to snatch the ball when Nicanor Demario made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marciano Idacio. Pretorianos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Pretorianos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Marciano Idacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 30th minute of play forced Pretorianos FC's goalkeeper Marciano Idacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Pretorianos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Marciano Idacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 44th minute of play forced Pretorianos FC's goalkeeper Marciano Idacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Santos Lauren kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Tostão Ceresso took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 58th minute, Portugal's Felipe Barreto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marciano Idacio. Marciano Idacio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Ceresso in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão Ceresso came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Tostão Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Marciano Idacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Victorino Loren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Neron in the 80th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Pretorianos FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Lauren. A collision led to Pretorianos FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Nicanor Demario hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolomeu Dias in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marciano Idacio saved Pretorianos FC from getting behind. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Neron in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Faustino Almeida threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pretorianos FC's Victorino Loren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Ceresso in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute Felipinho Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Idacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Pretorianos FC booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Pimentel didn't get a good kick on the ball.
