Apolo Romero ran back to his position shaking his head. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evaristo Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Romero in the 26th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Romero in the 33rd minute of play. Evaristo Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyo EAS's Apolo Romero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th match minute, Cachiyuyo EAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Palban to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Apolo Romero sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. After the first half Cachiyuyo EAS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cachiyuyo EAS's Fabricio Rencio was substituted for Apolo Romero. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabricio Rencio made a kick off. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dito Sena in the 54th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Fabricio Rencio took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. 0-3 became the score in the 73rd minute when Fabricio Rencio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Cachiyuyo EAS's Fabricio Rencio. But to his dismay, Fabricio Rencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. A collision led to Cachiyuyo EAS getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dito Sena hit a great ball. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Evaristo Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cachiyuyo EAS booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cachiyuyo EAS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
