Sandro Galishoff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blas Estevez having to make a save. Jeremias Marko scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Auer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeremias Marko in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Auer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fabio Auer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Marko in the 35th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Fabio Schneider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Austria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Schneider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cecilio Bernad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Fabio Auer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sandro Galishoff came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Austria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro Galishoff couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the game, Sandro Galishoff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Blas Estevez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandro Galishoff to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Sandro Galishoff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Blas Estevez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabio Schneider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Estevez having to interfere. Silvestre Gaztea made in the 65th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jorge Cordario however managed to control. Marvin Harrer kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Nalder in the 72nd minute of play forced Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalkeeper Blas Estevez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Marko in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Auer saved Austria from getting behind. When Fabio Schneider fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Austria's protests and gave Fabio Schneider a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Alfredo Barros got a free kick in the 96th minute. Austria played a much better game than Los Muñes de Don Cuco and deserved their victory. The Los Muñes de Don Cuco players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
