The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Mai Jian Xi came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markowy Team's Tomasz Wietrzychowski got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Yves Dervaux cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Artur Boruc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artur Boruc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zula Misiewicz got free with Casper Claes in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mai Jian Xi in the 31st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zula Misiewicz got free with Casper Claes in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Markowy Team's Mai Jian Xi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mai Jian Xi in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Belgium booed when Markowy Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Gigante didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Mai Jian Xi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Vanderstraeten to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Nigel Devos got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mai Jian Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Wietrzychowski in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Yu Yong Mo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Artur Boruc successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Mai Jian Xi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 82 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Misiewicz came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Zula Misiewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Casper Claes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute Mai Jian Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Bonte in the 92nd minute of play. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Misiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Markowy Team supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Belgium's performance. The match ended with a win for Belgium.
