Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of ToCoTaN FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, ToCoTaN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Edelmiro Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edelmiro Veronica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Veronica having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Simon Wallin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Simon Wallin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 48th minute ToCoTaN FC were awarded a corner. Humberto Distiratsu went to the cornerflag to take it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teobaldo Txindoki made a kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Simon Wallin sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 68th minute of play forced ToCoTaN FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Simon Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germany's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
