Kyle Cox made the kick off and thus started the match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Kyle Cox put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Seçkin Eroğul. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murathan Ensar in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khalid Kennedy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murathan Ensar got free with Khalid Kennedy in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cihan Kisačević in the 17th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes, Kyle Cox made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. SOMINECO's Seçkin Eroğul tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kyle Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seçkin Eroğul having to interfere. Seçkin Eroğul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Issac Dawson in the 27th minute of the match. When Kyle Cox came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the England fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyle Cox couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, SOMINECO's goal looked a bit too open when Issac Dawson came free, but Seçkin Eroğul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kyle Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Micah Macdonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Seçkin Eroğul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, England's Khalid Kennedy got control of the ball when Mir Güzel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mir Güzel was the one to do the kick off. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mir Güzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Issac Dawson kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murathan Ensar in the 55th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Cihan Kisačević notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of England's Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Murathan Ensar came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cihan Kisačević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cooper Thompson fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored England's protests and gave Cooper Thompson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Cooper Thompson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cihan Kisačević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Khalid Kennedy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SOMINECO booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyle Cox didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murathan Ensar, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. England's Xavier Gallagher pulled a muscle in his leg after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 76 minutes into the game, Murathan Ensar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SOMINECO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave England the free kick. Murathan Ensar hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. England's Kyle Cox got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 80 minutes, Micah Macdonald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. England's supporters crossed their fingers, but Micah Macdonald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Seçkin Eroğul was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Issac Dawson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 82 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Issac Dawson got free with Seçkin Eroğul in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gunnsteinn Guðbjörnsson's late challenge caught a England's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunnsteinn Guðbjörnsson helped the player get up and apologised. Seçkin Eroğul acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 89th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Micah Macdonald. Murathan Ensar kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, SOMINECO's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but Seçkin Eroğul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ensar Bayülgen fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SOMINECO's protests and gave Ensar Bayülgen a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SOMINECO! Micah Macdonald shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched England eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
