Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Raí Orange went to the cornerflag to take it. The crowd rose to their feet as Zico Orange kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Raí Orange managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Raí Orange was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carles Orange during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 15 minutes into the match, Germany's Albin Holweck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edinho Pirani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Carles Orange quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Willy Stieler, made in the 18th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Zico Orange left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 24th minute, Zico Orange ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Zico Orange stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Zico Orange tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the game, Willy Stieler threw the ball into play from the sideline. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Carles Orange quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tommy Kahn didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Zico Orange shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Casemiro Orange hit a great ball. In the 41st minute of the game Carles Orange made a throw-in which Pedrinho Reis played forward. 44 minutes in the game Linus Schwerner did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ulrich Stein. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edinho Pirani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Edinho Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zico Orange to make the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edinho Pirani made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Zico Orange left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 65 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Zico Orange came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Aldair Orange hit a great ball. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ made a substitution. Hudson de Godoi replaced Raí Orange. After a rather tough play, Germany's Willy Stieler got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Zico Orange came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zico Orange couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Zico Orange made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Zico Orange hit a great ball. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Zico Orange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Willy Stieler threw the ball into play from the sideline. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Pedrinho Reis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 94 minutes, Pedrinho Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedrinho Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Edinho Pirani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ.
