Dida Weidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 7th minute of the match. Dida Weidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Zuera Never End MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Norström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mastur Bates in the 18th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zuera Never End MZC's Mastur Bates, in the 18th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Zuera Never End MZC. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mastur Bates went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 董常朗 struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zuera Never End MZC. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 董常朗 in the 28th minute of play. Zuera Never End MZC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victor Agurto in the 30th minute. Zuera Never End MZC's Murillo Mattos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnout Reekers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dida Weidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Kees Mooiweer. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victor Agurto was slow to take the kick. During this time Zuera Never End MZC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Victor Agurto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnout Reekers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The wind increased when Mastur Bates made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a great ball. In the 55th minute 董常朗 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mastur Bates in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 董常朗 in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mastur Bates in the 71st minute of play. Dida Weidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Dida Weidt had great luck who in the 73rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Wim Wilmes from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Dida Weidt threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Zuera Never End MZC's 董常朗, in the 87th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Zuera Never End MZC. The audience was convinced that 董常朗's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, António Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Eikelkamp charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Eikelkamp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victor Agurto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
