Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Portugal's Viriato Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Miguel Lito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Miguel Lito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute, Miguel Lito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Miguel Lito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Lito got free with Wilson Amorim in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sangue nos Zóio's André Luiz Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luiz Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Felipe Barreto went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Portugal's Felipe Barreto to fire away a dangerous shot which André Luiz Reis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dave Rebours made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. 18 minutes into the game, Portugal's Felipe Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Luiz Reis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Miguel Lito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, Sangue nos Zóio's Miguel Lito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Miguel Lito made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Luiz Reis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graciano Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes in the game Bruno Bastos did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Daniel Pimentel. In the 46th minute, Alex de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Barreto struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. André Luiz Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Lito was the one to do the kick off. If Daniel Pimentel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Corderro in the 59th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Luiz Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Portugal's Felipe Barreto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. 68 minutes into the match, Miguel Lito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Lito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Sangue nos Zóio's André Luiz Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 73rd minute of play. Felipinho Amorims short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got André Luiz Reis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Lito in the 79th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg André Luiz Reis managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Portugal's Felipinho Amorim fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Pimentel hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. André Luiz Reis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 93rd minute. Sangue nos Zóio's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
