Simon Sabbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Qian Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Kiliz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Qian Peng came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Kiliz made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Christian Kiliz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Abancens in the 24th minute of the match. After 30 minutes, Dinç Tuncay made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Belgium's Casper Claes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Christian Kiliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Shi Qian Peng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Claes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Yves Dervaux hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd minute of the game Faustino Orlo made a throw-in which Carolo Abancens played forward. Christian Kiliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Dervaux in the 63rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Altos Gatos FC's Casper Claes threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dinç Tuncay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Altos Gatos FC made a substitution. Javier Santo replaced Shi Qian Peng. Altos Gatos FC were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Belgium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rosendo Sesuldo took the corner. The corner ended in Rosendo Sesuldo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Belgium's Casper Claes did a great save. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Christian Kiliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Altos Gatos FC's Dinç Tuncay dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. Christian Kiliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 78th minute of the match. Javier Santo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Christian Kiliz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Altos Gatos FC's Rosendo Sesuldo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Kiliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Óscar Ruggieri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
