Azzurri FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 28 played minutes Azzurri FC got a freekick which was hit by Stan Pitre. Loramendi Valdivia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 30th minute of play. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loramendi Valdivia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The corner led Hungary's Antal Valentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Loramendi Valdivia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 55th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balazs Lajos to maneuver through the defense. Azzurri FC's Loramendi Valdivia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Azzurri FC from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Carlos Tello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Loramendi Valdivia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Major Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loramendi Valdivia having to make a save. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosario Cardona in the 70th minute of the match. Azzurri FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Denis Redd in the 71st minute. The corner led Azzurri FC's Denis Redd to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jules Barrett in the 74th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Rosario Cardona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Loramendi Valdivia. After taking down the ball on Azzurri FC's corner Denis Redd fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. In the 95th minute, Rosario Cardona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hungary eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
