Artur Matela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Drasko Rajkovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Jaroslaw Dudek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sreten Popovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sreten Popovic struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Artur Matela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serbia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Drasko Rajkovic in the 21st minute of play forced SocceroS Zory's goalkeeper Artur Matela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Zajac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a huge save. In the 30th minute Drasko Rajkovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Matela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sreten Popovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Serbia from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Serbia booed when SocceroS Zory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyryl Zima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Drasko Rajkovic, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sreten Popovic was the one to do the kick off. Jan Nikodemski kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Serbia's Jovan Borisov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Florian Chazen, made in the 59th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute, Jaroslaw Flis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SocceroS Zory fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Sreten Popovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Artur Matela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Borjan Golubovic hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Jaroslaw Flis managed to get in a good position for a shot. SocceroS Zory's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaroslaw Flis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artur Zajac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zvezdan Nedeljkovic having to interfere. Borjan Golubovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Matela having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Serbia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SocceroS Zory.
