Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Nadal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Denmark booed when Algarrobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niguel Pasten didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Mikkel Wulff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Pedro Tomás Talamilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Algarrobo's Wilfredo Marchetti was substituted for Rafael Nadal. The throw-in from Niguel Pasten in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Olav Graversen. Edmundo Cañas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Denmark booed when Algarrobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Cañas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juan Ignacio Vera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Armando Lamb in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Keld Paulsen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
