In the 5th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Omar Motta in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Kit Kat FC's Omar Motta got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kit Kat FC's Omar Motta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Kit Kat FC from getting a goal against them. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Dantas in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfredo Linhares in the 26th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Linhares came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Carlos Eduardo Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Kit Kat FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Coelho lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

53 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Dantas came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 57th minute. Kit Kat FC made a substitution. Gilberto Santana replaced Zeca de Mendonça. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omar Motta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Omar Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Motta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Omar Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Kit Kat FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Omar Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Motta having to interfere. Kit Kat FC's Isaac Åkesson got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kit Kat FC! Kit Kat FC:s Omar Motta showed great skill when he stopped Frank Sachs:s penalty. In the 91st minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Isaac Åkesson came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Kit Kat FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Åkesson couldn't finish the play. Isaac Åkesson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. Germany succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Kit Kat FC had controlled the match.
