Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, City Friseur Wuppertal's Edwin Vestlund got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 6th minute, Albi Martínez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After having played for 13 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Stegaru in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xu Yi Lei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xu Yi Lei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 37 minutes into the match, City Friseur Wuppertal's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Xu Yi Lei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albi Martínez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xu Yi Lei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

City Friseur Wuppertal's Nebi Tokyürek was substituted for Avram Stegaru. Xu Yi Lei made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Xu Yi Lei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xu Yi Lei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save City Friseur Wuppertal from getting a goal against them. In the 85th match minute, City Friseur Wuppertal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüseyin Rahmi Uçanok to maneuver through the defense. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 88th minute Albi Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albi Martínez in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when City Friseur Wuppertal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarkan Ushan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xu Yi Lei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th match minute, City Friseur Wuppertal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwin Vestlund to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Lars Meesters hit a great ball. The City Friseur Wuppertal support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
