George Grealish kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gunnar Ekeroth in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fodor Daniel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Gunnar Ekeroth kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fodor Daniel. That made the score 2-1 in the 18 minute of play. George Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Valentin in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George Buffon saved Three Lions FC from getting behind. Gunnar Ekeroth struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Three Lions FC. 25 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but George Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Major Barna scored 2-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Buffon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gunnar Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balazs Lajos got in the 33rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but George Buffon handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Hungary's Major Barna, in the 35th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. The Hungary fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Hungary's Antal Valentin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Hungary booed when Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Montrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Hungary were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gunnar Ekeroth to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito McRae charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito McRae the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benito McRae hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but George Buffon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
