But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Pacifico in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Chimborazo A.F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Jeremias Ledesma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremias Ledesma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeremias Ledesma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Evelio Dunixi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Nabar in the 41st minute. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudiu Niculescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. Marcos Bizi scored 3-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Claudiu Niculescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Claudiu Niculescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 54 minutes, Ernesto Pacifico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chimborazo A.F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Pacifico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute Ernesto Pacifico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Claudiu Niculescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chimborazo A.F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Adrian Dreifuss charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Dreifuss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Claudiu Niculescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Claudiu Niculescu put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Florentino Nabar's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florentino Nabar helped the player get up and apologised. Florentino Nabar kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A hard shot by Adrian Dreifuss from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Jeremias Ledesma's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudiu Niculescu went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Chimborazo A.F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
