Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Toni Mauzer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 14th minute, Damir Pongrac left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Croatia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Damir Pongrac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Toni Mauzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Cavalos Cansados's Valério Macedo got a free kick in the 26th minute. Budi Guci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Mauzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes Cavalos Cansados got a freekick which was hit by Valério Macedo. Croatia's Martin Bosak got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dinko Stankovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 36 played minutes Cavalos Cansados got a freekick which was hit by Valério Macedo. After having played for 38 minutes, Toni Mauzer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Croatia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toni Mauzer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Cavalos Cansados defense, Dinko Stankovic kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Budi Guci. The Cavalos Cansados fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Budi Guci should have stopped the shot. Martin Bosak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Croatia were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Patrido Dieguez made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toni Mauzer got free with Budi Guci in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toni Mauzer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toni Mauzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Budi Guci having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toni Mauzer in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Budi Guci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Croatia booed when Cavalos Cansados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percival Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Dinko Stankovic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Croatia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinko Stankovic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Budi Guci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Mauzer in the 77th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Toni Mauzer rounded Cavalos Cansados's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. In the 82nd minute, Damir Pongrac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrido Dieguez in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilija Skugor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, Toni Mauzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Toni Mauzer might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Budi Guci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toni Mauzer ran back to his position shaking his head.
