After having played for 4 minutes, Alvino Fuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagisa Naranco F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvino Fuentes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lagisa Naranco F.C.'s zone, Damir Pongrac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Vives came out of the goal and Damir Pongrac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lagisa Naranco F.C.'s Blas Vives played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Mauzer in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Mauzer in the 20th minute of play forced Lagisa Naranco F.C.'s goalkeeper Blas Vives to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ilija Skugor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Bosak struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Blas Vives didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croatia. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvino Fuentes got free with Ilija Skugor in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blas Vives took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Mauzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lagisa Naranco F.C.'s goalkeeper Blas Vives, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Lagisa Naranco F.C.'s goalkeeper Blas Vives had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toni Mauzer. Toni Mauzer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Blas Vives when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 62nd minute, Marciano Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toni Mauzer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 66 minutes, Marciano Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lagisa Naranco F.C. and the Croatia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alvino Fuentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ilija Skugor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Terzic. The Croatia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lagisa Naranco F.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
