Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blas Urtungo in the 11th minute. Teo Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 13th minute of play. If Juan Raúl Riquelme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Sean Nabor sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blas Urtungo. Teo Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match, Blas Urtungo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Inter Miami CF's Enzo Iago got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Lars Meesters got free in front of the goal in the 55th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Teo Pacorro was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a free kick in the 58th minute. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Inter Miami CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Enmanuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Blas Urtungo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Inter Miami CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Illart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inter Miami CF's Reynaldo Alonso got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Inter Miami CF's Teo Pacorro got control of the ball when Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Teo Pacorro in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
