Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 4th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Mao Zhen Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to work through Academia Monte Gordo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Westerstrand in the 10th minute of the match. Fabrício Lustosa kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 13thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Netherlands's keeper Arnout Reekers was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Fabrício Lustosa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Arnout Reekers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mao Zhen Hong came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mao Zhen Hong having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 26th minute of play forced Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Mao Zhen Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Academia Monte Gordo's Christian Westerstrand dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Mao Zhen Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute of the match Codrin Zamfira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Christian Westerstrand put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arnout Reekers. 39 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrício Lustosa. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Westerstrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Mao Zhen Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 43rd minute of the match. Egbert Nijveldt's late challenge caught a Academia Monte Gordo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egbert Nijveldt helped the player get up and apologised. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Arana Ponta kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Mao Zhen Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mao Zhen Hong quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mao Zhen Hong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Westerstrand in the 65th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arana Ponta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Monte Gordo's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mao Zhen Hong came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Fabrício Lustosa notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arana Ponta in the 81st minute of play. When Academia Monte Gordo's Arana Ponta in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. Wim Wilmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mao Zhen Hong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mao Zhen Hong having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Lustosa in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Codrin Zamfira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mao Zhen Hong having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Academia Monte Gordo had won after a very even match.
