Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Beattie, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Beattie in the 21st minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Julian Kosakowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilija Skugor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Kosakowski couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the game, ORIZABA F.C.'s Fausto Beattie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilija Skugor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Croatia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilija Skugor should have stopped the shot. Fausto Beattie struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ilija Skugor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ORIZABA F.C.. Richárd Textex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Bosak in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Julian Kosakowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Croatia's Benjamin Domazet got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Benjamin Domazet off the ground. After 88 minutes of play, ORIZABA F.C.'s Julian Kosakowski made it 0-18 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilija Skugor was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Julian Kosakowski took a quick shot and it went in 0-19 without a chance for Ilija Skugor to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Fausto Beattie managed to get in a good position for a shot. ORIZABA F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Beattie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilija Skugor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauan Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded ORIZABA F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Croatia.
