Jan-Ove Wiman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 31st minute Kyle Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Wiman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moodys IF's Jan-Ove Wiman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Issac Dawson in the 32nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Issac Dawson sped through Moodys IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan-Ove Wiman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Gallagher in the 39th minute of play forced Moodys IF's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Wiman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Ove Wiman came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by England's Micah Macdonald. But to his dismay, Micah Macdonald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. 46 minutes into the match, Micah Macdonald notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Moodys IF's Jan-Ove Wiman. Jan-Ove Wiman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-11 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jan-Ove Wiman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 51st minute of play. Moodys IF's Jan-Ove Wiman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Moodys IF from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute Xavier Gallagher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Wiman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Kyle Cox fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jan-Ove Wiman, passed just outside the right post. 73 minutes into the match, Cooper Thompson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan-Ove Wiman, 0-15. The audience thought a goal was coming when Micah Macdonald got free with Jan-Ove Wiman in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th play minute Issac Dawson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jan-Ove Wiman. 0-16. Seth Young fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Wiman having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Caelan Hayes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Wiman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Micah Macdonald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Ove Wiman. Moodys IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Micah Macdonald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-17. England's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
