New Loser FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Denílson Vides in the 14th minute. New Loser FC's Denílson Vides was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Germany booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Jardeløv didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Jardeløv, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Jardeløv in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mario Jardeløv's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in Germany fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Mario Jardeløv took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 63rd minute Mario Jardeløv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mario Jardeløv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by New Loser FC's Mario Jardeløv. But to his dismay, Mario Jardeløv quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Mario Jardeløv blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. In the 77th match minute, New Loser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique de Salles to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Jardeløv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. César Bittencourt charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Bittencourt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, New Loser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Jardeløv in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
