Gildo de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Mergenthaler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes Miau Stars got a freekick which was hit by Maria Socorro. 22 minutes into the game, Germany's Albin Holweck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gildo de Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 27th minute, Frank Sachs made a precise shot to the right of Gildo de Andrade. Miau Stars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some careless play in the Miau Stars defense, Frank Sachs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gildo de Andrade. The Miau Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gildo de Andrade should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gildo de Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Linus Schwerner in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Miau Stars's Hugo Rocha. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gildo de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

In the 53rd minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Linus Schwerner made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Miau Stars's Hugo Rocha. After having played for 65 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gildo de Andrade was a little too slow when Albin Holweck got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-7. Miau Stars's Hugo Rocha quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Linus Schwerner, made in the 69th minute of the game. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. Chris Mergenthaler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
