Alexandre Mourinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Keld Paulsen. Denmark's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fabrício Antas made in the 18th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marcelo Almeida however managed to control. The audience thought a goal was coming when Óscar Fontoura got free with Keld Paulsen in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Spartak das Kaldas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Julião Vidigal in the 22nd minute. Juvenal Sanches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
