Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonathan Soon took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute of the match Watford FC got a corner. France's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ludvig Åkerman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Adam Wallmark was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Josef Sjöberg's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josef Sjöberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Watford FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Josef Sjöberg hit a great ball. If Philip Håning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 19th minute of play forced Watford FC's goalkeeper Ben Foster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Philip Håning tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Watford FC's Jonathan Soon in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye France's goalie prevented a goal. Maxime Durand was a little too slow when Philip Håning got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Soon in the 34th minute of the match. Philip Håning blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maxime Durand having to make a save. 37 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Philip Håning. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Robert Chapuis hit a great ball. When Quentin Beaux fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored France's protests and gave Quentin Beaux a yellow card for diving instead. 39 minutes into the game, one of France:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in France's zone, Philip Håning stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxime Durand came out of the goal and Philip Håning tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Philip Håning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Peletier made a kick off. Ben Foster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Peletier got free with Ben Foster in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jean Bombelles hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Philip Håning in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. After 58 minutes, Remy Dupuy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the France and the Watford FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Remy Dupuy kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Philip Håning had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Durand. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philip Håning was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 62nd minute, Philip Håning left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Watford FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Philip Håning might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Durand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philip Håning ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the game, Philip Håning was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Watford FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. In the 67th minute, Philip Håning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ben Foster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of France booed when Watford FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Sjöberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute of the match David Barbier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ben Foster showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Håning, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 84 played minutes Watford FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Bergdal. 86 minutes into the match, Frank Peletier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ben Foster, 4-1. In the 91st minute, one of France:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for France. Maxime Durand had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Jonathan Soon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jonathan Bergdal kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Many of France's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. France may have spent more time on the ball, but Watford FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
