In the 3rd minute of the match, Laércio Penha got a very nice opportunity to score, but Casper Claes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 6 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alfredinho Cavalcante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 12 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laércio Penha. In the 15th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenny Clocheret to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tana Rede in the 15th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tana Rede in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 22nd minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Alfredinho Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredinho Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Alfredinho Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 32nd minute of play. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tana Rede's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Tana Rede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tana Rede, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Laércio Penha made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 61st minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Alfredinho Cavalcante. Granadero10's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Cavalcante having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play, Granadero10's Tana Rede made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casper Claes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tana Rede in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 73rd minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Alfredinho Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Dervaux in the 75th minute of play. Yves Dervaux succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 75th playminute. Granadero10 made a substitution. Beniamin Madajczyk replaced Vítor Antunes. 82 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredinho Cavalcante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 85th minute of play. Jairo Vinhas made in the 91st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Beniamin Madajczyk immediately put the ball in play. After 92 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Yves Dervaux. In the 95th minute, Sander Dermaut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
