Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Maxime Durand successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Camille Baume hit a great ball. Maxime Durand stood somewhat misplaced when Gogo Timo came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 12 minute. 16 minutes into the match, Eustacio Gaxan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of France's Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Eustacio Gaxan came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Gryffindor Lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Gaxan couldn't finish the play. Deng Hong Ping kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Wilfredo Irrintzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Barbier in the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Gaxan got free with Maxime Durand in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Prospero Guifre hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Wilfredo Irrintzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 31st minute of play. Alexis Bruneau was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the game, one of France:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Maxime Durand had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Americo Tabby's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, France's David Barbier got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guido Herena to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Timo in the 51st minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Gaxan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Gaxan in the 62nd minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Eustacio Gaxan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Durand. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustacio Gaxan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 68 played minutes Gryffindor Lions got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Timo. In the 69th minute of the match David Barbier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilfredo Irrintzi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eustacio Gaxan took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. David Barbier kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, France's Frank Peletier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Camille Baume hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. France's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
