The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Teofilo Cefero sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 6th minute of play forced Milagro Sobre Césped's goalkeeper Carlos Van Lint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Otsoa hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Mikkel Wulff notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Milagro Sobre Césped's Carlos Van Lint. Carlos Van Lint was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 14 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertram Svenningsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 21st minute of play forced Milagro Sobre Césped's goalkeeper Carlos Van Lint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denmark's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chris Nygaard in the 24th minute. Bertram Svenningsen kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Teobaldo Ortle's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teobaldo Ortle helped the player get up and apologised. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Cefero in the 31st minute of the match. Omar Cordairo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Denmark's Chris Nygaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Van Lint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 48 minutes into the match, Bertram Svenningsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Van Lint. Milagro Sobre Césped's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertram Svenningsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 57th minute of play forced Milagro Sobre Césped's goalkeeper Carlos Van Lint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Ludvigsen hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Geronimo Calvet came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Milagro Sobre Césped fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Calvet couldn't finish the play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milagro Sobre Césped's Carlos Van Lint was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Milagro Sobre Césped's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Carlos Van Lint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Txatxu in the 68th minute of play. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Txatxu in the 69th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes Milagro Sobre Césped got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Ortle. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Cefero in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Denmark's Chris Nygaard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Van Lint narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teobaldo Ortle hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Flavio Otsoa charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Otsoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes Milagro Sobre Césped got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Otsoa. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Van Lint was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Bertram Svenningsen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bertram Svenningsen really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Chris Nygaard's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carlos Van Lint firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Milagro Sobre Césped's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Van Lint came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikkel Wulff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Carlos Van Lint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denmark's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
