Sten Andrejević's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Corrêa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 23rd minute of play forced ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper Luiz Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sigvard Rosendal made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sten Andrejević immediately put the ball in play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Corrêa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the game, Guillaume Bonte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ROSÁRIO SPORT the free kick. Guillaume Bonte hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ROSÁRIO SPORT booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillaume Bonte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Guillaume Bonte. 77 minutes into the match, Tony Dionísio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tony Dionísio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Luiz Corrêa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Belgium's Sander Dermaut quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nildo da Silveira, made in the 83rd minute of the game. ROSÁRIO SPORT's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dean Harvey in the 87th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Corrêa having to interfere. The corner led Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten to fire away a dangerous shot which Luiz Corrêa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luiz Corrêa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Siebe Michiels in the 95th minute. The ROSÁRIO SPORT support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
