Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Foguera's David Villa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kai Rønne in the 4th minute. Kai Rønne was extremely unlucky when he, in the 5th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 8 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Foguera's Santiago Cañizares. Santiago Cañizares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Cañizares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Katona Janos heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 22 played minutes Foguera got a freekick which was hit by Kai Rønne. Antal Valentin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Santiago Cañizares. Foguera's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Foguera's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that Foguera's Santiago Cañizares managed to reach the ball for a save. 26 minutes into the match, Foguera's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Santiago Cañizares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Foguera's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Ivan Rubio sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Foguera getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Allande Soto hit a great ball. Santiago Cañizares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 37th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Balazs Lajos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santiago Cañizares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Villa in the 54th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Foguera's goalkeeper Santiago Cañizares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Rubio in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Rubio came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Cañizares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Foguera booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Foguera's Prometeo Domenech was substituted for Hugo Guillamon. In the 75th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szekeres Tamas to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Santiago Cañizares made a huge save. In the 83rd match minute, Foguera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Allande Soto was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kai Rønne went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Rolando Saavedra hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Santiago Serra's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Serra helped the player get up and apologised. Hungary were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
