The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taci Argün during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Zaccheo Andolina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Taci Argün made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Jimeno Nevada in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taci Argün in the 56th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Italy defense, Taci Argün kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. The Italy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Vittori should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Jimeno Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Rami in the 61st minute of play. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Magallanes made a substitution. Tadeo Precioso replaced Samuel Pereira. Jimeno Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 66th minute of the match. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atlético Magallanes! Jimeno Nevada had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Sigfrido Auletta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 71 played minutes Club Atlético Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Hug. 73 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Jimeno Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Magallanes's Serafin Hug got a free kick in the 74th minute. Sigfrido Auletta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 played minutes Club Atlético Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Hug. After 79 played minutes, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jimeno Nevada came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Italy reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Magallanes's zone, Adriano Curto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Nevada came out of the goal and Adriano Curto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Adriano Curto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimeno Nevada was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Serafin Hug hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Siricio Liotta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jimeno Nevada. Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Italy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atlético Magallanes.
