Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Denmark's Chris Nygaard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edmund Majman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertram Svenningsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Chimpanserna FC's Gunnar Hellström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Keld Paulsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Chimpanserna FC's Gunnar Hellström got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Chris Nygaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes Chimpanserna FC got a freekick which was hit by Rune Utfal. Edmund Majman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chimpanserna FC's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Majman came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Hellström in the 45th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gunnar Hellström to make the kick off. Theis Winther charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theis Winther the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, Theis Winther hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Gunnar Hellström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Keld Paulsen. That made the score 1-2 in the 57 minute of play. In the 60th minute, Gunnar Hellström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Keld Paulsen. The goal made the score 1-3. Chimpanserna FC made a substitution. Björn Arvidsson replaced Rickard Wallengren. After 67 played minutes Chimpanserna FC got a freekick which was hit by Rune Utfal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Majman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Peter Hääger in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Olav Graversen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmund Majman saved Chimpanserna FC from getting behind. If Rune Utfal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Gunnar Hellström took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Keld Paulsen to make any attempt to save it. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Gunnar Hellström sped through Denmark's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. A collision led to Chimpanserna FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Kurt Almkvist hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Majman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Chimpanserna FC booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theis Winther didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Hellström in the 94th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
