When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Kenneth Helvik sped through Picapiedras FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Ibañez. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

53 minutes into the game, Domingo Celipe threw the ball into play from the sideline. Raven Raiders's Anders Øvrebø quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Raven Raiders booed when Picapiedras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Berto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Domingo Celipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raven Raiders made a substitution. Edelmiro Argoitz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Picapiedras FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Raven Raiders:s goal. 1-4 came through a penalty shot after 79 played minutes, when Raven Raiders:s Runar Gullaksen calmly waited for Picapiedras FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Juan Ibañez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anders Øvrebø in the 84th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Anders Øvrebø in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Picapiedras FC's Domingo Celipe. Picapiedras FC's Juan Ibañez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Picapiedras FC from getting a goal against them.
