The wind increased when Oktay Canpolat made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ulrich Richter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brockensen FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulrich Richter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umut Akay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Brix Wiest kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Umut Akay. That made the score 2-1 in the 56 minute of play. Umut Akay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulrich Richter's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Oktay Canpolat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Kosten having to interfere.
