Maximilian Bromme was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the game, Gökalp Hasanbeyli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Erzincan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thalbach FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Erzincan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! If Henning Walloch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 played minutes Thalbach FC got a freekick which was hit by Max Schachten. In the 42nd minute, Tamino Fauser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, İsmet Balabey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joschka Kau to strike the kick off in the second half. If Joschka Kau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Schachten hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 62ndth minute of the game Oktay Canpolat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thalbach FC's Maximilian Bromme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Erzincan's İsmet Balabey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximilian Bromme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Thalbach FC's Joschka Kau got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th match minute, Erzincan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halil Can Durcan to maneuver through the defense. After 72 minutes, Konrad Hauck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thalbach FC and the Erzincan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Konrad Hauck kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. İsmet Balabey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thalbach FC's Maximilian Bromme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oktay Canpolat in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Thalbach FC's Joschka Kau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Umut Akay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Henning Walloch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Thalbach FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Oktay Canpolat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Maximilian Bromme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Erzincan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Thalbach FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
