After a rather tough play, E.C SM's Horácio Mazza got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Horácio Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to E.C SM getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. João Pedro Pires hit a great ball. Roman Bazkoare kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Dalmacio Ponc reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicolas Pinho. The goal made the score 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmacio Ponc in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, E.C SM's Antônio Pires got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute Horácio Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Aurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Deportivo Iguazu's goal looked a bit too open when João Pedro Pires came free, but Bonifacio Aurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes of play, E.C SM's João Pedro Pires made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bonifacio Aurre was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of E.C SM booed when Deportivo Iguazu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Walme didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Pedro Pires charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Pedro Pires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes E.C SM got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Pires.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmacio Ponc to make the kick off. Bonifacio Aurre made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Horácio Mazza sent off a good shot on target. Gregorio Gomez lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Deportivo Iguazu getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gregorio Gomez hit a great ball. Deportivo Iguazu's goalkeeper couldn't reach when João Pedro Pires 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Dalmacio Ponc struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Nicolas Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Iguazu. 76 minutes into the match, Horácio Mazza notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Deportivo Iguazu's Bonifacio Aurre. Bonifacio Aurre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute, Dalmacio Ponc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo Iguazu's Bonifacio Aurre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Iguazu from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the game, Horácio Mazza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bonifacio Aurre. Horácio Mazza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Bonifacio Aurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro Pires in the 87th minute of play. Jeronimo Walme kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, Deportivo Iguazu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Artaldo to maneuver through the defense. If Amílton de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes E.C SM got a freekick which was hit by Igor Pernambucano. E.C SM played a much better game than Deportivo Iguazu and deserved their victory. The Deportivo Iguazu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
