The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8thth minute of the game Alain Etxeberria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thalbach FC's Maximilian Bromme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maximilian Bromme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuste Villafane in the 9th minute of play. Ceferino Coira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tuste Villafane might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximilian Bromme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tuste Villafane ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Vielha FC booed when Thalbach FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henning Walloch didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Coira in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximilian Bromme saved Thalbach FC from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Tuste Villafane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Goyo Rallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuste Villafane in the 33rd minute of play forced Thalbach FC's goalkeeper Maximilian Bromme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceferino Coira scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximilian Bromme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximilian Bromme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Coira, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Goyo Rallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilian Bromme having to interfere. After 44 minutes, Joschka Kau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thalbach FC and the Vielha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alain Etxeberria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alain Etxeberria was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Thalbach FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alain Etxeberria came free, but Maximilian Bromme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Thalbach FC's zone, Alain Etxeberria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximilian Bromme came out of the goal and Alain Etxeberria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rosario Bouzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henning Walloch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Thalbach FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tuste Villafane came free, but Maximilian Bromme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Ceferino Coira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vielha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Coira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximilian Bromme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thalbach FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Alain Etxeberria scored to the left of an out of position Maximilian Bromme, making the score, 0-4. In the 84th play minute Ceferino Coira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maximilian Bromme. 0-5. If Ponce Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 93 in the game by Ceferino Coira from a close distance when the talented Maximilian Bromme managed to make a qualified save. Thalbach FC's players were relieved. When the match was over Vielha FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Thalbach FC throughout the match.
