Andreas Andersson made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Sotiris Koupepes sent off a good shot on target. After 7 played minutes Börna Bulldogs got a freekick which was hit by Robin Strandberg. After 8 played minutes, Wolverhampton's Patrik Lingren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andreas Andersson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wolverhampton reached it. Thomas Runeberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gong Qi Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Gong Qi Fan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Runeberg having to make a save. Patrik Lingren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Andreas Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Runeberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gong Qi Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Acácio Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Gong Qi Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Runeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Gong Qi Fan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Börna Bulldogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Gong Qi Fan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Runeberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wolverhampton! Wolverhampton:s Thomas Runeberg showed great skill when he stopped Yngve Åström:s penalty. Thomas Runeberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Grabowicz in the 36th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gong Qi Fan made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Wolverhampton's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Sandström came free, but Thomas Runeberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Sandström came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Thomas Runeberg could save by the left post. Börna Bulldogs were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Wolverhampton's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yngve Åström took the corner. The corner led Börna Bulldogs's Yngve Åström to fire away a dangerous shot which Thomas Runeberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 60th minute Pawel Grabowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Runeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Börna Bulldogs's Xiao Zhen Jian got a free kick in the 61st minute. Thomas Runeberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawel Grabowicz in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Wolverhampton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Acácio Cunha hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Guillermo Granäng kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gong Qi Fan got free with Thomas Runeberg in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gong Qi Fan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Runeberg having to make a save. Thomas Runeberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Qi Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gong Qi Fan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Runeberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Börna Bulldogs were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Wolverhampton's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yngve Åström took the corner. Börna Bulldogs's Yngve Åström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thomas Runeberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the final whistle sounded Börna Bulldogs left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wolverhampton.
