Marciano Monico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Roma in the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Brooklyn SC's Greg Giraldo got a free kick in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Roma in the 23rd minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Marciano Monico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Wilfredo Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frankie Gunn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Carabata Groove's zone, Douglas Pace stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Monico came out of the goal and Douglas Pace tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Titus Pierson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Brooklyn SC's Frankie Gunn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Juvenal in the 77th minute of play. When Carabata Groove's Fabricio Burutzagi in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Richard Roma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Marciano Monico made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Carabata Groove had won after a very even match.
