In the 11th minute, Gigel Gologan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eintracht Cernavoda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Gigel Tănăsocă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson do Vale having to interfere. In the 30thth minute of the game Gigel Gologan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eintracht Cernavoda's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luís Gustavo Urbano was slow to take the kick. During this time Bandelocos's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Luiz Guilherme Varela got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eustacio Sotero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eustacio Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Tormes in the 41st minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Gigel Gologan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Gigel Tănăsocă got free with Nilson do Vale in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Bandelocos's zone, Gigel Gologan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson do Vale came out of the goal and Gigel Gologan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustacio Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Brasil in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Sobis in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eustacio Sotero saved Eintracht Cernavoda from getting behind. Gigel Gologan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gigel Gologan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gigel Gologan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Nilson do Vale made a huge save. After having played for 75 minutes, Doru Baicu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eintracht Cernavoda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doru Baicu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Betão Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Gigel Gologan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nilson do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Gologan in the 78th minute of the match. Eustacio Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Sobis in the 79th minute of play. After 82 played minutes Eintracht Cernavoda got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Sousa. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Eustacio Sotero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Eintracht Cernavoda supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Eintracht Cernavoda would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
