Charlie Bucket showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Tănăsocă, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Eintracht Cernavoda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Douglas Pace ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Brooklyn SC's Henry Sugar getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Richard Roma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustacio Sotero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Charlie Bucket came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Eintracht Cernavoda's Gigel Gologan. But to his dismay, Gigel Gologan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, Gigel Gologan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eintracht Cernavoda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Gigel Gologan struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Charlie Bucket didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eintracht Cernavoda. 26 minutes into the match, Gigel Tănăsocă notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Brooklyn SC's Charlie Bucket. Charlie Bucket was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Charlie Bucket showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doru Baicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Domenic Ring's late challenge caught a Eintracht Cernavoda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Domenic Ring hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's Narcis Bunescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charlie Bucket narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute Gigel Gologan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Bucket saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gigel Tănăsocă in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charlie Bucket saved Brooklyn SC from getting behind. After the first half Eintracht Cernavoda were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gigel Gologan to strike the kick off in the second half. Charlie Bucket showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Gologan in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Brooklyn SC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Junior Khan hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Brooklyn SC's zone, Gigel Gologan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charlie Bucket came out of the goal and Gigel Gologan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Tănăsocă came free, but Charlie Bucket reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charlie Bucket made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Gigel Tănăsocă sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Gigel Gologan put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Charlie Bucket. When the match was over Eintracht Cernavoda could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brooklyn SC throughout the match.
